Trump’s Comments on Vaccine Orders in Florida
Former President Donald Trump expressed concern on Friday regarding Florida officials’ decision to eliminate all vaccine orders for students, describing their approach as a “severe stance.” He mentioned that some individuals “should use vaccines.”
“I think we have to be very careful,” Trump stated, highlighting the effectiveness of vaccines. He specifically noted that the polio vaccine is “amazing” and suggested that the Covid-19 vaccine, which was developed during his presidency, is also “surprising.”
He went on to say, “You have some very incredible vaccines. And when some people say they don’t need to get vaccinated, you have to be very careful. It’s a very tough position… that’s a tough stance.”
According to Trump, “The vaccines work, and it’s just pure and simple work.”
Florida’s Vaccine Policy Shift
The state’s Surgeon General recently announced that schools may no longer have mandatory vaccine requirements. He likened these requirements to slavery during a press conference.
“Everyone,” Radapop asserted, “The last one is wrong, dripping with da and slavery.” He further described the vaccine mandates as “wrong” and “immoral.”
Radapop indicated that the Florida Department of Health will repeal its vaccine mandates, although he noted that the state legislature needs to address other legislative matters.
In Florida, vaccinations for diseases like polio, measles, and others are typically required for school attendance, though parents can request exemptions based on religious beliefs.
Across the U.S., all states and Washington, D.C. mandate vaccinations for school attendance, yet vaccination rates among children appear to be declining nationwide.
Radapop has called the Covid-19 vaccine “poison,” which the federal government recently removed from a recommended list for healthy children, according to remarks made by an official.
In his statements, Radapop questioned who has the authority to dictate what individuals should inject into their bodies. He added, “If you want to put a different vaccine in your body, God bless you. I hope you make an informed decision.” He emphasized the importance of personal choice regarding vaccinations.
