Trump’s Oval Office Meeting Raises Eyebrows

During a broadcast on Wednesday, MSNBC host Nicole Wallace criticized President Donald Trump for the way he conducted a meeting with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, suggesting it was humiliating for the United States.

Wallace remarked, “It’s just another chapter in the ongoing narrative of Donald J. Trump. Today was particularly remarkable. In the Oval Office, Trump seemed to ambush and belittle a leader from a country that has a complex history with apartheid.”

In the meeting, Trump stated, “If you believe there’s ongoing persecution or genocide, I’ll hear that from various sources. It’s disappointing because we’re talking about white farmers in South Africa, and the situation is unresolved.”

Wallace added, “Here we are again with conspiracy theories playing out from the Oval Office, damaging America’s reputation globally.”
