Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday lightly dismissed Taylor Swift's endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris, saying he much prefers Brittany Mahomes.
Asked about Swift, 34,'s decision to vote for her Democratic rival in an early morning television interview, the 78-year-old Trump offered high praise for the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
“The truth is, I like Mrs. Mahomes a lot more. She's a big Trump fan,” the Republican candidate said on Fox News' “Fox & Friends” when asked about Swift's endorsement.
“I love Brittany. I think Brittany is wonderful,” Trump continued.
“She's a huge MAGA fan. Much better than Taylor Swift.”
This comes after Mahomes recently made headlines after liking an Instagram post from President Trump.
Trump, meanwhile, said he was not surprised that Swift did not endorse him, saying, “She's a very liberal person.”
“She always seems to support Democrats and she's probably going to pay a price for that in the market,” he said.
