The Department of Education (ED) on Thursday revoked funds to universities in California and Oregon for allegedly using illegal immigration funds.
Performance Partnership Pilot for the Exemption of Dismembered Youth (P3) is intended to support low-income, first-generation, and students with disabilities, but under the Biden administration, funds have been allowed to divert illegal immigrants to be sent to universities, Ed's press release I said. The announcement comes as it weighs dramatic cuts in funding to schools and states that are known to not comply with administration instructions, such as the ban on men competing in women's sports.
“U.S. taxpayer dollars will no longer be used to subsidize illegal immigration through the Department of Education programs,” the action under Secretary James Bergeron said in the announcement. “The trio program was designed to provide support and guidance to disadvantaged Americans as they navigate the path to post-secondary education. The department does not allow the program's true purpose to be corrupted to advance the US and Last agenda.”
