Trump Backs Lindell in Minnesota Gubernatorial Primary
President Donald Trump has once again urged residents of Minnesota to support Mike Lindell in the Republican primary for governor. This endorsement came through a post on Truth Social, where Trump highlighted Lindell’s commitment to his campaign and mentioned that Lindell has recently stepped down as CEO of My Pillow to dedicate himself fully to this political endeavor.
“Mike Lindell deserves a BIG WIN IN MINNESOTA today. Nobody has worked harder, and given up so much, in fighting for free and fair Elections. Go out, NOW, and VOTE for Mike Lindell for Governor. He will not let you down,” Trump stated.
Trump, who affectionately refers to Lindell as the “Pillow Man,” endorsed him in mid-July as the race began to replace Governor Tim Walz, who has opted not to seek reelection amid accusations of election fraud during his tenure.
The Republican primary elections in Minnesota are scheduled for Tuesday, with other candidates including state House Speaker Lisa Demuth and Kendall Qualls, who received the Republican endorsement at the state convention, according to reports.
On the Democratic side, U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar is vying for the position, alongside several other contenders.
