Trump Enjoys Double-Digit Lead over Biden in Ohio

Former President Donald Trump has a double-digit lead over President Joe Biden in a hypothetical general election showdown in Ohio, according to an Emerson College poll.

poll published A poll Thursday morning found that 47% of 1,844 registered voters said they would support Trump in a rematch of the 2020 election. This is an 11 point lead over Biden, who received 36% of the vote. 9% supported another candidate, and 9% were undecided in a two-way race.

Compared to a November poll conducted by Emerson for FOX 8 Cleveland in which Trump had a 12-point lead, there is minimal change in the gap between Trump and Biden.

Trump led in Ohio in both of the previous presidential elections, securing 53.3% of the vote in 2020. hit Biden has an 8.1 point lead. The poll was conducted January 16-24 and surveyed 4,956 registered voters in seven states.
