Aides to former President Donald Trump’s leading Republican congressman held a fiery press conference Tuesday outside his “fake” business record trial in Manhattan.
At the midday press conference, Trump’s former rival in the 2024 campaign, Gov. Doug Burgum (R-North Dakota), entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, and Rep. Byron Donald (R-Fla.) State) and Representative Cory Mills (R-Florida) were in attendance.

“This is not the United States of America. This is a third-rate banana republic. If this were happening in any other country, we would ridicule them as a false democracy,” he said of prosecutors and Trump’s ex. He said this before focusing on Michael Cohen, a lawyer and disgraceful convict.

In his remarks, Donalds focused his criticism on Judge Juan Machan’s daughter, Lauren Machan.

“Because of the travesty that happened in that courtroom, we have the best and brightest in the NYPD here. Meanwhile, New Yorkers are becoming less safe and the New York District Attorney is not prosecuting actual crimes. ” he said.
Mills argued that Democrats “want to keep President Trump out of the campaign” and that “the American people see this for what it is.”
