If Donald Trump manages to take back the White House or defeat his administration, multiple lawsuitsthat’s probably due to the opponent’s overwhelming power. incompetence, dishonesty and shortsightedness. And prominent among those “opponents” are members of many news organizations.
On March 16, President Trump told a crowd in Dayton, Ohio that President Biden’s reelection would spell “disaster” for the U.S. auto industry. It wasn’t difficult to understand what he was saying. But Biden’s campaign quickly responded, fist pumping with reporters and accusing the presumptive Republican nominee of threatening literal genocide if he is denied a second White House entry. .
Mr. Trump said nothing of the sort. But reporters and Democratic Party operatives appear to have learned nothing from the 2016 election. They should already know that broadcasting manufactured scandals onto the airwaves will only promote Trump’s campaign, embolden him and his supporters, and radicalize many potential swing voters. But I don’t know.
“Donald Trump said that if he doesn’t win, there will be ‘bloodshed’ and if he loses, there will be no more elections,” the Biden-Harris campaign said in a hastily released statement tonight.
The statement added: “This is who Donald Trump is: a loser who, after losing by more than 7 million votes, instead of appealing to a broader mainstream audience, doubles down on threats of political violence.”
In fact, President Trump was discussing China’s efforts to avoid tariffs and trade barriers by manufacturing cars in Mexico.
“I’m going to impose a 100 percent tariff on every car that comes through the line. If I’m elected, I won’t be able to sell those cars,” he said. “Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a disaster for the whole thing, but that’s the bare minimum. It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country. It’s the worst. But they don’t want those cars. I have no intention of selling it.”
Trump is difficult to quote because he often changes direction mid-sentence. But to anyone with a brain, the part about “blood fest” at the end clearly refers to automotive jobs. Anyone looking at this campaign or this issue would probably assume this is a reference to the Biden administration’s disruptive introduction of electric vehicle mandates. The electric vehicle mandate would cost U.S. automakers huge and unsustainable amounts of money producing cars that consumers won’t buy.
However, even though the full quote was readily available for anyone to see, and members of the press were present during President Trump’s remarks, major news organizations dutifully placed behind the Biden-Harris press release. He also parroted claims that President Trump was threatening him. Murder people like a mad Roman emperor.
“President Trump says there will be ‘bloodshed’ if he loses the election.” NBC News warned.
“President Trump: If Biden wins in November, the country will face ‘bloodshed'” said Politico.
“President Trump says some immigrants are ‘not human beings’, predicts ‘bloodshed’ if he loses” reported the New York Times.
For the record, President Trump’s “not a citizen” comment was made in reference to members of the notoriously brutal and murderous gang MS-13, and was a reference to “some immigrants.” It is clear that this is not what was mentioned. Right or wrong, it’s still a mischaracterization.
Claiming that some counties are dumping criminal elements at the US southern border, President Trump said, “If you had prisons full of MS-13 and all kinds of people…if you call them people… ” he said. “I don’t know if you’d call them humans.”
“In some cases, it’s my opinion that they’re not human, but the radical left says that’s a terrible thing, so I’m not allowed to say that,” he continued. .
Even before I fully considered President Trump’s comments on immigration, I was convinced that he was probably referring to criminals, and possibly members of MS-13. Like many articles about Trump, you didn’t even need to look to know that his comments had been mischaracterized. why? Because the journalist pulled this exact stunt six years ago When President Trump used the word “animal” to describe members of MS-13. First in 2018 it was deceptive and sloppy and now it’s still deceptive and sloppy.
About all inks recently spilled grieving of mass layoffs and release the shutter of multiple news organizationPerhaps an equal amount of ink needs to be spilled to answer the difficult question of why we trust the traditional. Media is at an all-time low. Journalists and media professionals complain bitterly about misinformation and disinformation. But very often they themselves are the source of a great deal of disinformation, especially when it comes to reporting on Trump.
And it’s not just bad journalism. Politics is also bad.
By intentionally misrepresenting his words, and doing so where the facts and evidence are readily available for everyone to see, journalists are publicly proving that the media is giving Mr. Trump a bad rap. This means that They make him into a martyr fighting to drain the swamp in which they live.
Meanwhile, the dust raised by these pseudo-scandals serves as a smokescreen for President Trump. Since 2015, he and his minions have used one false report to drown out the next, ignoring legitimately scandalous statements and actions.
It’s okay to ignore or doubt what the media says about Trump. They lied to you about the “bloodshed”, right? they lied It’s about what he said about immigrants not being human, right? they lied For his praise of white supremacists and his refusal to condemn them.even they Winner of Pulitzer Prize For publishing a fabricated article claiming that President Trump colluded with the Kremlin to steal the 2016 election. What’s stopping them from lying about what happens next?
The great irony is that there is no need to lie about Trump at all. There’s no need to make up outrageous behavior.hell Please give me one himself, if you only let him Please talk long enough.
And this goes without saying, all this negative publicity for Trump; earned media. CNN gave him billions of dollars worth of funding in 2016. He will enjoy even more of it in 2024. What a gift to a presumptive presidential candidate who is struggling to pay his legal fees.
Speaking of CNN, they reported on Trump’s comments regarding Dayton:President Trump warns of ‘disaster’ for auto industry and country if he loses election”
do you understand? They almost got it. In fact, it is possible to accurately report on Trump. But for some people, getting it right doesn’t seem to be as important as letting a bad guy run for president, so many publications have made a conscious decision not to do so.
and they wonder Why don’t many people sympathize when he calls them “enemies of the people”?
