Trump Executive Orders ‘Are Obviously Well-Prepared’

On Fox News Channel's “The Ingraham Angle” on Tuesday, network legal analyst Jonathan Turley spoke positively about recently sworn-in President Donald Trump's early executive orders.

Turley said the executive order could trigger legal battles on some issues, such as birthright citizenship.

“Well, Jonathan, this is going to be a pace we haven't seen before. And I don't think we didn't see it in the first trimester, but they know that area now. ” said host Laura Ingraham. “They know the challenges. And do you agree with my assessment that each of these orders is reviewed by the legal team, and the legal team understands that these cases will be contested? I don't think anything was published with that in mind.”

“No, these are clearly well-prepared EOs, some of whom are probably going to start a fight, by the way,” Tarly replied. “An EO on birthright citizenship could be an effort to take this to court. You know, there's a sweet spot for a second-term president. The first two years, before halftime. They need to put their scores on the board because the pace will be much slower in the last two years, so I hope they resolve this issue in court and start a constitutional amendment process if necessary. Maybe.”
