Exclusive: Former President Trump said President Biden is a “real threat to democracy” while reacting to his opponent's campaign speech marking the third anniversary of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.
Biden gave a campaign speech Friday in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, and spent much of the speech attacking Trump, who holds a significant lead in the Republican presidential primary.

Biden accused Trump of trying to “steal history in the same way he tried to steal the election” and said the 2020 election results proved Trump was a “loser.” .
But in an interview with Fox News Digital after Biden's speech, Trump fired back.

“Democrats rigged the last election and are trying to re-elect it again,” President Trump said. “But that won't work, because they have shown how inferior and incompetent they are.”
“Joe Biden is the worst president in American history. He's incompetent, he's crooked, he's just like Benedict Arnold in so many ways,” Trump told Fox News Digital. “He is destroying our country in a way no one has ever done before.”
President Trump pointed to the crisis at our southern border, saying the United States is experiencing an infiltration of “millions of people, many of them coming into our country from prisons, mental hospitals and terrorists.”

“He is responsible for this,” Trump said. “We are a failed nation, a nation in decline, and it's all because he's the worst president our country has ever had.”

President Trump went on to tell Fox News Digital that “Joe Biden is a real threat to our democracy because of his gross incompetence.”
“Now is not the time to have a mentally ill president,” Trump said.

Trump's comments came as Biden slammed Trump for what he called “the worst presidential dereliction of duty in American history” and “an attempt to overturn a free and fair election through force and violence.” It came out.

But President Trump said, “The only violence is the violence occurring at our borders, where millions of people from unknown territories are invading our country at a level far worse than a military invasion.'' He forgives me,” she countered.
Trump has not been charged with insurrection, even though special counsel Jack Smith has filed charges against him in connection with the Jan. 6 Capitol protests and the investigation into the 2020 election.

Mr. Smith charged Mr. Trump with: Conspiracy to deceive the United Statesconspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstructing and attempting to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights.
Mr. Trump has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
