Former President Donald Trump extended his attack on Vice President Kamala Harris' “Project 2025” to his own policies, labeling them that way.
Harris has repeatedly warned voters about “Project 2025” despite Trump's denial of the document, which has been confirmed by numerous fact-checkers. Tired of Harris repeatedly ignoring the truth, the Trump campaign decided to use the term “Project 2025” to describe the policies Harris would implement if she were to become president next year.
In a social media post, President Trump listed the policies of “Kamala's Project 2025.”
- Abolition of ICE
- Open borders
- Police budget cuts
- Releasing violent offenders
- Repeal the middle-class tax cut
- Ban on fracking
- Ending fossil fuel use
- Confiscate guns from lawful gun owners
- Taking away health insurance for hundreds of millions of Americans
- Taxpayer-funded sex-change surgery for illegal immigrants
Project 2025, the Heritage Foundation's effort to create an encyclopedia of conservative policy, drew on input from hundreds of authors, including some associated with the early Trump administration. Few actually read the entire 922-page document produced by the project, and Democrats wrote their own interpretations of the document's contents, often relying on outright lies and fabrications.
