Trump ‘Going Back to Butler’ to Hold ‘Big and Beautiful Rally’ Honoring Corey Comperatore

Former President Donald Trump announced he plans to return to Butler, Pennsylvania, to hold a “big, great rally” to honor Corey Comperatore and the others who were injured.

in post Trump announced on Truth Social that he would be returning to the site of the assassination attempt at a rally on July 13. The former president was shot by a “penetrating bullet” above his right ear, fired by 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks from the roof of a nearby building.

Comperatore, a former Pennsylvania fire chief, was shot and killed while trying to protect his wife and daughter after Trump was shot. Two other people, David Duch and James Copenhaver, were also shot and wounded at the rally.

“I will be returning to Butler, Pennsylvania to hold a large and beautiful rally to honor the spirit of our beloved firefighter hero, Corey, and the brave patriots who were injured two weeks ago,” Trump wrote.

“Whatever the day, fight, fight, fight! Stay tuned for details,” Trump added.

Dutch was reportedly recently released from Allegheny General Hospital after being shot in the chest and liver. according to Copenhaver remains hospitalized, he told 6ABC News.
