Donald Trump met with Prince William in Paris at the reopening ceremony of the Notre Dame Cathedral on Dec. 7 and spoke fondly of his experience with the royal.
Trump gushed over his interaction with Prince William, saying that the experience went well and they had “a great talk,” according to the New York Post. He went on to compliment the future king after their interaction.
“He’s a good looking guy,” Trump told the outlet. “He looked really, very handsome last night.”
Trump was clearly impressed with how their meeting went and had a lot of nice things to say about Prince William’s appearance and demeanor.
“Some people look better in person? He looked great. He looked really nice, and I told him that,” Trump told the New York Post.

Trump and William made time for a meeting while dignitaries from across the world flocked to Paris to commemorate Notre-Dame cathedral’s re-opening. The beloved, historic church was devastated by fire in 2019. Crews have worked on repairing the extensive damage done to the landmark building that required approximately 500 firefighters to extinguish.
Prince William and Trump conducted their discussion in the gilded Salon Jaune at the UK Ambassador’s Residence and were in each other’s company for roughly two hours, according to the New York Post. Videos of the pair posing for photographs for the press have been widely circulated on social media.
“I had a great talk with the prince,” Trump said, and he noted the prince looked “very handsome” during their encounter.
The two spoke about the current health conditions of Kate Middleton — the prince’s wife — and King Charles III, both of whom have been publicly battling different types of cancer, and processing through treatment. Middleton finished chemotherapy in September, according to the New York Post.
“I asked him about his wife and he said she’s doing well. And I asked him about his father and his father is fighting very hard, and he loves his father and he loves his wife, so it was sad,” Trump said, as he recalled the nature of their conversation. (RELATED: Donald Trump Settles Music Lawsuit)
“We had a great talk for half an hour, a little more than half an hour. We had a great, great talk,” Trump said, according to the New York Post.
