Trump, Haley go head-to-head in New Hampshire primary: Live updates

New Hampshire voters head to the polls Tuesday for the nation's first primary.

The stakes are high for Nikki Haley, who aims to defeat former President Trump and win the nomination. Polls are close between the rivals in New Hampshire, but Trump maintains a strong lead in the new two-person race. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) suspended his campaign on Sunday and endorsed the former president, which could hurt Haley's momentum.

Meanwhile, President Biden will not appear on the Democratic ballot in the Granite State, but his supporters plan to write the incumbent's name.
