Trump: Harris has more cognitive problems than Biden

Former President Trump said Trump said Tuesday that his rival, Vice President Harris, has “greater cognitive problems” than President Biden, who ended his campaign amid public concerns about his mental acuity.

During a speech in Savannah, Georgia, on Tuesday, President Trump criticized the Biden administration's handling of the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan, specifically pointing out the 13 service members who died during the chaotic withdrawal and military equipment left behind overseas.

Before blasting Harris, President Trump repeated his usual line that world leaders are “laughing at us.”

“We have to be respected. They are laughing at us. They are laughing at us all over the world,” Trump said.

“And you know what they're really laughing at? Kamala,” Trump continued, “because they can't believe she's going to be president. They can't believe it.”

Trump appeared to address the criticism of his own cognitive abilities before turning the focus to Harris.

“Are we talking about cognitive impairment? In my opinion, her cognitive impairment is greater than his,” Trump said, referring to Biden.

The Hill has reached out to Harris' campaign for comment.

While Harris and Trump remain neck and neck in key battleground states, The Hill/Decision Desk polling average gives Harris the lead nationally, with 50 percent of the vote, a 3.9 percentage point lead for Harris to Trump's 46.1 percent.
