A new poll shows former President Trump with a narrow 4-point lead over President Biden.

The CNN/SSRS poll results are in contrast to a recent Quinnipiac University national poll that showed Mr. Biden leading Mr. Trump by 6 points (50-44%).
Mr. Trump maintains a 2-point lead over Mr. Biden in a likely rematch, according to an average of polls from The Hill and Decision Desk Headquarters (DDHQ).
Biden is looking to boost his campaign in South Carolina, where the Democratic primary will be held on Saturday. Prior to Biden’s 2020 victory in the state, an endorsement from Congressman Jim Clyburn (D.C.) helped energize his campaign.
“I truly believe that people are starting to focus on things now. By the primary on the 3rd, there will be significant turnout and Joe Biden will outperform his numbers in Newsweek. I think, ‘Hampshire,”’ Clyburn said in an interview with The Hill.
The CNN/SSRS poll was conducted from January 25th to 30th with 1,212 respondents and had a margin of sampling error of 3.4 percentage points. The survey had 983 labeled respondents as registered voters, and their sampling error was 3.8 percentage points.
