Trump Responds to Biden’s Prostate Cancer Diagnosis
Former President Donald Trump expressed sadness upon learning that President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. He sent warm wishes for a “quick and successful recovery,” both for Biden and his family.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote, “Melania and I are saddened to hear about Joe Biden’s recent medical diagnosis. We hope Joe has a quick and successful recovery.” His son, Donald Trump Jr., also reacted to the news, emphasizing the importance of setting politics aside during such a tough time.
On X, Trump Jr. shared an update stating, “Breaking: Joe Biden has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Politics aside, I hope he has a quick recovery!”
Biden’s office revealed that he is dealing with an “aggressive form” of prostate cancer that has metastasized to the bone. The statement indicated that the diagnosis followed the discovery of prostate nodules after Biden reported increased urinary symptoms.
According to his team, the diagnosis includes a Gleason score of 9, placing it in the more severe category. However, they noted that the cancer is hormone-sensitive, which could allow for effective management. Currently, Biden and his family are exploring treatment options with his doctor.
Biden, who is 82, holds the distinction of being the oldest living president in U.S. history.
