Trump’s Pace in Congress
Senator Mark Wayne Marin (R-OK) commented that President Donald Trump operates at a relentless pace in Congress. During his appearance on Saturday, he described Trump’s approach as being perpetually in “overdrive.”
Marine noted that no matter when he interacts with Trump, the president is always going full throttle. “I don’t care when I talk to him or visit him. He’s running hard.”
According to Marin, Trump’s decision-making style is distinct; he doesn’t get bogged down in micromanagement. Instead, he trusts his team to handle tasks while he swiftly arrives at conclusions.
“Politics usually drags on, but Trump doesn’t work that way. He knows what he wants right from the first meeting,” Marin explained. He mentioned that Trump often throws out numerous figures during discussions, prompting listeners to explore negotiation strategies in his book, The Art of the Deal.
Marin emphasized Trump’s high-energy approach, stating, “He’s always on the move.” He believes Trump is still addressing challenges from the previous administration, with a goal to restore American integrity.
In terms of military morale, Marin remarked it’s improved significantly. He highlighted continuing investments in the U.S., mentioning a fully funded border security wall on the horizon. “His second term has been very focused on what it takes to get America back on track,” he said.
Marin concluded by reflecting on Trump’s commitment to the country, claiming, “When you talk to him, he’s all about making America great. This guy genuinely loves this country.”
