Trump Announces Kazakhstan Joins Abraham Accords

President Donald Trump has revealed that Kazakhstan is set to join the Abraham Accords, a notable step for international relations. The Accords were the first peace agreements facilitated by the U.S. during his initial term, with hopes for more nations to follow suit.

In a recent conversation, Trump spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Kazakhstan joins the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Morocco in formalizing ties with Israel.

“Kazakhstan is the first country to join the Abraham Accords in my second term,” Trump posted on his social platform. “It’s just the beginning. This is a significant advancement in fostering global connections.”

These Accords, initiated during Trump’s first term, were originally signed in 2020 to enhance relations between Israel and the UAE along with Bahrain, and Morocco later joined too.

“Today, more nations are stepping up to engage in peace and prosperity through my Abraham Accords. We’ll be announcing a signing ceremony soon, and more countries will express interest in this alliance. There’s a lot to look forward to for stability and growth.”

Trump expressed optimism that additional Arab nations, including Syria and Saudi Arabia, might join the Accords. Notably, Syria’s interim president, Ahmed al-Shalah, is expected to visit the White House next week, while Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia is set to meet Trump on November 18th.

“Blessed are the peacemakers!” Trump concluded his social media message with a biblical quote.

On the same day, White House Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff hinted at more countries joining the Abraham Accords, underlining the administration’s ongoing efforts.

“The Abraham Accords are significant,” Witkoff remarked at an event in Miami. “Tonight, we are going to announce another country joining the Accords. We’ll be heading back to Washington tonight.”
