Following the indictment against former President Donald Trump, all New York City police officers were told to come to work in uniform on Friday for deployments throughout the city.
A spokesperson for the NYPD told Fox News Digital that NYPD officers were told to put on their uniforms by 7 a.m. but there was no credible threat.

Last week, the New York Police Department set up barricades around Manhattan Criminal Court ahead of a possible indictment of Mr. Trump. Trump earlier called on his supporters to protest if he was arrested.
The police directive came on the heels of news that Trump had been indicted as part of the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office’s years-long investigation into possible hush money.
