Faith and God were never part of Breitbart himself; John Kahn's Nurturing. But the singer/songwriter behind the #1 Billboard hit song inspired by Trump “Fighter.” I discovered both my later life…and only after I found faith, the actual test began.
With his latest release “fingerprint”, Khan Takes listeners on an emotional musical journey that traces the origins of faith he felt first but was denied as a young boy. song It was completed a year and a half ago, but is still completed Khan I hesitated to release it. He told Breitbart News, “I didn't know if it was my place or not. I was so new to the world of faith that I thought myself a bit of a rookie, so I knew I felt right. I felt and felt peace.
So he waited. Meanwhile, the season of loss for LA natives began. “Half of the last year, I broke up with my girlfriend. I lost my mother a few weeks later. My father collapsed and needed a massive operation and lost his home to the Palisade fire.” Khan I said. ““fingerprint” Originally written as a quest for my faith, I now realize that it actually represents a test of that faith. So I figured out the best time to release a song than during the storm. ”
When asked if he had passed the test, Khan “I hope so. If I hadn't gone down this path, I wouldn't be dealing with these experiences the way I would be if I hadn't gone to church regularly and had amazing conversations with wonderful people about God and faith.

Khan's The journey to faith began about five years ago in the writer's room in Nashville, where he met fellow songwriters. Michael Farrenthe son of a Baptist preacher. They talked for hours before picking up the guitar. They just talked about life. At that point, Farren said, “You speak like a Christian.” Khan “I really didn't know what that meant, but it was interested in me.”
Khan I began to explore God and faith not only through conversations with my church, but also with friends and colleagues. “As I started thinking about the world differently, an interesting door started to open. The concept of “door” has always fascinated me. I always include it in my evening prayers, ask God to close the door behind me and open up what he wants to experience for me.
Song title “fingerprint” It came from a pivotal conversation I had with a colleague at Breitbart. He said, “After listening to you, it's very clear that God has a fingerprint on you now.”
“My songwriting mentor and best friend, Jeffrey Steele They generate so many ideas that they encouraged me to listen to the conversation all the time. When I hear the concept of fingerprintI quickly learned that it was a song. I sat down to write it and the music and lyrics poured out from me quite quickly. ”
When asked what listeners wanted to take away from the song, Khan “I think what people take away from any song is very personal, but I hope some people think it's never too late to start a journey like this.”
“fingerprint” He's currently out and can be purchased and streamed on all platforms.
When I was 10 years old
I lay on the bed and cried
No one could hear me
No one could hear me
I thought there was a reason
For my life
But who believed in me?
Who believed in me?
I don't want to be a dying person
Using everything, I'm trapped inside
I was wondering something
It was really mine
I didn't know there was more to lose
I could see the blue in the sky
But if my eyes were really open
You've probably found a clue
I'd heard you say
There's nothing I can't do
I got my fingerprints from you
Too many hearts are seen as broken
To understand
What you wanted
What you wanted
Why is there pain?
Part of the plan
It's always a ghost
It's always a ghost
myself….
I didn't know there was more to lose
I could see the blue in the sky
But if my eyes were really open
You've probably found a clue
I'd heard you say
There's nothing I can't do
I got my fingerprints from you
Now the little boy is crying
For all the years he denied
He's not looking for a reason
Because he knows he believes that now
It's not a lie
When it gets dark and it's very difficult to breathe
You're right there and I know I won't leave
It took me a long time to get here
Lord, I know what I need now
'Even in the dark I can see cause
You got me your fingerprint
You got me your fingerprint
