Trump ramps up criticism of '60 Minutes' Harris interview amid lawsuit

President Trump has once again unleashed a scathing critique of CBS News and its program “60 Minutes.” This comes amid an ongoing legal dispute surrounding an interview with former Vice President Harris from last fall.

In a post on True Social, Trump condemned CBS, claiming, “CBS is illegally pinned, manipulated and manipulated through CBS.” He labeled the interview, which aired just days before the election, as nothing more than “fake, corrupt, anti-Trump propaganda.”

When CBS News released the complete transcript of the discussion with Harris, the network defended its approach, stating that its content aims to be truthful and beneficial to the audience while adhering to broadcast standards.

This latest round of criticism comes as Trump’s legal team reported discussions about a potential settlement with Paramount Global, CBS’s parent company, which is currently involved in a significant merger with the entertainment firm Skydance.

“These antics are why Americans don’t trust the media,” Trump stated, calling for accountability from “60 Minutes,” CBS, and its parent company for what he characterized as corruption and dishonesty.

This criticism also follows the departure of longtime “60 Minutes” producer Bill Owens, at a time when the president has been targeted by various leading law firms disputing his claims or opposing his agenda, particularly in light of a recent segment aired over the weekend.
