Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-Va.) said Monday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that former President Donald Trump is a “narcissistic sociopath” who seduced the Republican base.
Connolly says, “We are looking at exactly the behavior of narcissistic sociopaths. The problem with sociopaths is that they deceive a lot of people. develop restraint skills that can really seduce. When it comes to Donald Trump, I think we’ve seen the vast majority of people being seduced en masse, but they have to really exclude other realities. No need.”
He added: “Objectively, every court, more than 60 courts, has found that Joe Biden won the election and that the challenges to that were frivolous.” Ta. Facts weren’t important, right? As for Donald Trump, we have to put aside the fact that he has been indicted on 88 criminal charges in four different venues. Not to mention, he has already been convicted and fined $1.5 billion for everything from sexual assault in business dealings to massive civil fraud in New York state. In any other situation, I think the average American would take that very seriously. In this case, for some reason Donald Trump gets a pass from his cult-like following. ”
