MSNBC host Joy Reid said on her show “The Readout” on Tuesday that former President Donald Trump is “acting like a Nazi.”
“Yesterday, Donald Trump posted a video to his social media accounts. The video, which was a preview of the second Trump administration, promotes mass deportations of immigrants and, at this point, Trump’s fascist “It’s become a common policy tactic. She added, “The video was deleted and the campaign tried to distance itself from the post, but the problem is that back in April, President Trump told his followers that only he and Dan Scavino had access to the Truth social media accounts.” That’s what I was doing,” he continued. Another thing he was proud of was that someone once compared him with Adolf Hitler. He once praised Hitler for doing good things. He uses Nazi rhetoric, dines with neo-Nazis and white supremacists, and publicly defends them. ”
Reid added, “As usual, many in the media are downplaying the fact that a Republican candidate is again using Nazi language. His fellow Republicans don’t seem to care that much. They… are going to extraordinary lengths to protect him.”
She concluded, “What will it take to get the media to take seriously the fact that Donald Trump is acting like a Nazi, talking like a Nazi, and now posting like a Nazi?” .
