Rep. Debbie Dingel (D-MI) argued in CNN’s “Situation Room” on Friday that the Trump administration was attacking speech, religion and freedom of press.
Co-host Pamara Brown said, “You take me to the Kilmer Abrego Garcia case, you’ll talk about the legitimate process. Democrat Sen. Chris Van Hollen was finally able to meet him face to face. The administration has admitted that he was accidentally deported to El Salvador.
Dinger said, “You know, I don’t know where I’m going. I’m happy the senator saw him yesterday.”
She continued. “I did three city halls in 24 hours. One was a very conservative part of my district that voted for Trump, one was with seniors. One was with young people in high school. Do you remember that everyone votes unanimously?
“I think we have to worry about freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of press, and the fact that you are being attacked every day,” Dingell said.
