Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said Monday on MSNBC’s “The Last Word” that former President Donald Trump is a cheat and a lazy man and “knows he’s a cheat.”
“This man, you know, the former president, is a master of projection. Everything he says about other people — judges in a court of law, witnesses, jurors, members of Congress, women, political opponents — is a projection of his own shortcomings,” Pelosi said.
She added, “This guy is crooked. This guy is lazy. This guy is lazy. Any subject, any subject, this guy is a freak. He knows he’s a freak. He knows he’s a fraud. So we’re going to do a psychoanalysis. I think we need to get him in front of a medical professional directly.”
Pelosi added: “This is a food table issue, this is a cost of living issue, this is a woman’s right to choose issue, this is an economic issue, but also a democracy issue. So let’s just talk about what’s at stake for the people in this election, because the people don’t care about that. They don’t care. They care about the wealthy 1 percent. They don’t care about food table issues.”
