The Daily Beast's Joanna Coles said Wednesday on MSNBC's “Morning Joe” that she believes former President Donald Trump took small doses of psychedelic drugs.
Co-host Jonathan Lemire said: “Well, Joanna, let me ask you to weigh in on this as well. This was, to say the least, a strange closing argument for former President Trump, and more than just his strange sway on stage the other day. No, you are welcome to voice your opinion on it too. But this is Orbán's thing. This is undemocratic, but very few people in the party are willing to speak out against it.
“I mean, I know Donald Trump says he doesn't drink, but this feels like drunken behavior,” Coles said. I think it's dozing. It's an amazing behavior and it's absurd. And if we're exhausted by this campaign, imagine how Donald Trump feels. Please. He seems to have lost track of the plan. Yesterday he was making a fuss, saying Democrats are communists and then fascists. He was just like the rest of us. I think it's crawling. I agree that this is not the way to bring in undecided voters.”
She added, “There's a reason why people from overseas, and I think myself included, immigrants want to come to America. You're not driving to a country or taking a boat to a fascist country, you're coming to America for something that represents democracy.''
“Yes, although there is certainly no evidence that the former president administered or used any drugs,” Lemire said.
