Trump is the Only One Who Can Halt Iran's Nuclear Program Through a Favorable Agreement Following Attacks

Israel’s Stance on Iran’s Nuclear Program

Israeli National Security Adviser Tuchi Hanegbi stated during a television appearance on Friday that only former President Donald Trump has the ability to bring an end to Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

Earlier that day, Israel conducted substantial airstrikes targeting high-ranking Iranian military figures, air defense systems, and nuclear facilities, resulting in damage to key enrichment sites in Natanz and Isfahan.

Hanegbi mentioned that while Israel’s actions had inflicted harm on the nuclear program, a significant agreement with the Iranian government was necessary to completely halt its nuclear weapon pursuits. He emphasized that Trump was the key player who could facilitate such negotiations.

He explained that the airstrikes aimed to pressure Iran into serious discussions with Trump, rather than dragging out the negotiation process. Moreover, he highlighted the need for Iran to voluntarily dismantle its nuclear enrichment capabilities, which the Iranian regime has thus far rejected.

Reports have come out detailing that Hanegbi has outlined four specific targets for an ongoing operation against Iran, which includes undermining its ground attack capabilities and establishing conditions to impede its nuclear initiatives through diplomacy.

When asked if Israel’s goal was to completely eliminate Iran’s nuclear program, Hanegbi responded that it would be “impossible” to achieve through military exercises alone. He suggested that a solution similar to those in Libya and South Africa could work, where state leadership opted to relinquish their nuclear aspirations due to a careful weighing of benefits and drawbacks.

Earlier, Trump remarked that Iran had disregarded his previous warnings but now has a “second chance” to negotiate a deal. Key elements of what the U.S. would consider a favorable agreement include Iran’s commitment to dismantle its entire nuclear program, end its ballistic missile initiatives, cease its support for extremist activities, and improve human rights conditions under stringent oversight.
