Trump Is ‘Very Weak’ Democrats Have a Huge Advantage

Political commentator James Carville said Thursday on MSNBC’s “The Beat” that former President Donald Trump will be “very weak” in the general election.

Anchor Ari Melber said: “We have Michigan on Tuesday, where Trump won, but a lot of primary voters didn’t choose him.”

He added: “These are certainly wins, and if things continue like this, we’re certainly mathematically on the path to winning the nomination. But, James, there’s a third active primary voter who has a favorable opinion of Trump right now.” If you don’t have one, are you worried about something?” ? ”

Carville said: In New Hampshire, Eugene McCarthy got 38% or something like that, and Lyndon Johnson had to go. Of course he is very weak. That’s what people have to understand, his primary numbers are weak and his fundraising numbers are even weaker. Democrats have a huge advantage right now, but they don’t realize it. ”

He added, “They’re all upset about the Supreme Court, but I could have told them that’s what they’re going to do. But you’re also in a very strong position in terms of dissatisfaction with Trump among significant parts of the Republican Party. 30% is, I don’t know, not a tick lever. That’s a lot of votes and your own party, and their That’s what you’re not getting.”
