Trump Announces New “Rose Garden Club”

President Donald Trump has introduced a new initiative called the “Rose Garden Club” following the renovation of the iconic Rose Garden.

During a dinner held for Washington insiders on Friday, Trump showcased the newly resurfaced patio and referred to the gathering as the launch of this club.

“We have worked very hard to bring it to fruition and it hasn’t been easy, but I think we’re all going to enjoy it for many years to come. It’s a tremendous place,” he shared with attendees, which included various lawmakers from both the House and Senate.

Interestingly, prior to the dinner, there had been no formal announcement from the White House about the new “club” across any of its platforms.

As for the menu, the first course featured a salad comprising baby iceberg lettuce, sunset tomatoes, brioche crackers, chives, and Thousand Island dressing. The main course offered guests a choice between New York Strip steak served with potato croquettes, grilled broccolini, and spinach peppercorn sauce, or thyme-roasted chicken paired with mashed potatoes and young beans dressed in Dijon sauce. There was also a vegetarian option, summer spaghetti primavera, followed by a fudge-filled cake for dessert.

House Speaker Mike Johnson from Louisiana shared a series of photos from the event on social media shortly after.

“The grand opening of the new Rose Garden Club at the White House last night was epic,” Johnson remarked. “Thanks to @realDonaldTrump for his hospitality & visionary leadership.”

Some other lawmakers noted their enthusiasm about being invited, as it was the first occasion held in the recently renovated garden.

“President Trump’s renovation of the Rose Garden will be enjoyed by Americans for generations to come,” tweeted Senator Jim Banks from Indiana. He also shared a photo with Trump, expressing his honor in being among the first guests.
