Opinion polls show former President Donald Trump leading Vice President Kamala Harris by 3 points in Georgia with 17 days left until the presidential election.
East Carolina University Poll published Friday's poll found that 49% of likely Georgia voters support Mr. Trump and 46% support Ms. Harris.

Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) also has a higher approval rating than Gov. Tim Walz (D-Minnesota) among vice presidential candidates. Reviews of Vance are positive, with 49% viewing him favorably and 45% viewing him unfavorably.
Walz's ratings were neutral, with 47% reporting a favorable view of him and 47% reporting unfavorable feelings toward him.
The survey sampled 701 likely voters in Georgia from Oct. 9 to 14 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.
