Trump Loyalists Are Becoming ‘Bodies Around Him’

Cassidy Hutchinson, a former aide to White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, was loyal to former President Donald Trump on Wednesday on CNN’s “The Source” while discussing the Arizona charges. He said it was really sad that people became “the people around him.” The election lawsuit involves 17 people, including his former boss.

Presenter Caitlin Collins said: “It must have been really unbelievable for him to be charged a second time.”

Hutchinson said: “It’s really sad. I was really good friends with Mark. I truly believe in him and that’s why I chose to serve as chief of staff. It’s hard to see him in there.”

She continued, “When I think about how Mr. Trump has acted throughout his business career and his political career, I think on a larger scale. I tend to relate that to the bodies around him. But he gets rid of all the people who are loyal to him, because it’s all about his personal gain and what he can get from them.”

Hutchinson added, “Donald Trump is essentially thinking about himself. That’s why America is in the position it is today because he didn’t want to give up the presidency and ran again. , because they were prosecuted in multiple jurisdictions.
