President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Voldimia Zelenkie met for the first time since the infamous oval office spewed in February. They were attending Pope Francis’ funeral in Rome, but it is unclear exactly when they met.
Neither Ukrainians nor White House officials have given much details about the meeting. But White House Communications Director Stephen Chen said the leader has “a very productive argument.”

Zelenskyy later tweeted that the meeting was “very iconic” and could potentially become “historic.”
In February, Zelensky suddenly left the White House after being caught up in an argument with Trump and Vice President JD Vance. Zelenskyy later told Fox News chief political anchor Bret Baier in a “special report” that the incident was “bad for both parties.”
The meeting is because it appears that peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine are making demands to compete with Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“A good day of consultations and meetings between Russia and Ukraine. They are very close to the deal, and both sides should meet at a very high level to “finish it.” Trump wrote the Truth War after his arrival in Rome on Saturday.

Trump criticizes both leaders in separate posts about the True Society. On Thursday, Trump asked Putin to “stop” Kiev and told the Kremlin he was “not happy” to continue his attack on Ukraine. The day before, on Wednesday, Trump blasted Zelensky after he said he didn’t recognize Russia’s control over Crimea, which Putin had invaded in 2014.
Putin has so far rejected several US proposals for peace deals, but the White House remains optimistic about Trump’s ability to end the war.

“This war is certainly true. Both sides have to agree,” Secretary of State Marco Rubio told reporters in the Oval Office on Thursday. He also said there was a “good meeting over the weekend” and it was probably focused on ending the conflict.
