“The truth is, the Club for Growth PAC and President Trump have accomplished a lot together. From tax reform to deregulation, President Trump has brought prosperity to all Americans. Our country is at a crossroads. Inflation and interest rates are costing middle-class families the ability to own homes, and too many parents are struggling to put food on the table. Crime is rising in cities. It’s destroying our cities and penetrating our suburbs, making our public schools spend more than ever and leaving our kids unsatisfied. Joe Biden and radical progressives will only make things worse – here’s how. It’s a wake-up call. This is the most important election of our time. It’s time for Republicans to come together and put aside their differences. To ensure that Biden is a one-term president. We need to work together. We need to increase our majority in the House and restore our majority in the Senate. We need to restore the American Dream, and the only way we can do that is by working together. Trump The president always says, “When Trump and Growth Club PAC come together, we always win.” And together, we will take back the White House and more this November. ” – David McIntosh, Club for Growth PAC Chairman

Recently, their relationship has become unstable.

During his speech, President Trump put the feud aside, saying: We are in deep, deep love. ”

The Washington Examiner reported:

The Growth Club has publicly shelved its feud with Donald Trump and invited him to speak at its annual economic retreat in Palm Beach, Florida.

The former president accepted the invitation and took to the stage Friday night to announce that he would be working with the organization as he became almost certain to become the Republican presidential nominee.

“Now we are back in love. We are deeply and deeply in love,” he reportedly said, according to statements provided by officials present.

The Club for Growth, a deep-pocketed group that spends tens of millions of dollars each term to elect conservative candidates, had close ties to Trump during his four years in the White House.

But relations soured during the midterm elections, when he and the group’s president, David McIntosh, disagreed on a handful of races. The situation worsened after club-affiliated organizations spent millions of dollars in Trump’s failed bid for a third White House bid.
