Maxwell Frost (D-FL) said on Thursday that President Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is illegal and unconstitutional about CNN's “sources.”
Host Kaitlan Collins said: “In this whole effort to reduce the size of the federal government, we have confirmed that the courts will slow down some of it and restore it and move forward. As a member of Congress, you will have to be your party, your Congress, and you will have to be the one who will have these Do you believe you are doing enough to oversee the decision?”
Frost said: And that's part of why many of my democratic colleagues and I actually had to go to many of these institutions and departments last week. We've been to USAID. I've been to the Ministry of Finance's Ministry of Education. Because when we reach out to the administration, it's cricket that we're back. ”
He continued. “When I talk to many colleagues who have been in Congress for a long time, this is completely outrageous. I'm worried about the fact that Elon Musk and his little team, um, Doge, um, um, the coder is not being monitored at all. It needs to be. Of course, no one sees the work they are doing to make sure there is no conflict of interest, but that is done in the right way too.”
Frost added: If he wants to significantly reduce the federal government and move forward with this Project 2025 agenda, he will need to come to the US Congress. ”
