Congresswoman Claudia Tenney nominated Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, citing the Abraham Accords.
Days after three American soldiers were killed by Iranian proxies, Rep. Claudia Tenney of New York called former President Trump the Nobel Prize, citing his “historic” Abraham Accords. Nominated for the Peace Prize.
“Donald Trump was instrumental in promoting the first new peace agreement in the Middle East in nearly 30 years,” Tenney told Fox News Digital in a statement. “For decades, bureaucrats, foreign policy experts, and international organizations have argued that no additional Middle East peace deal was possible without a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. President Trump says that’s wrong. I proved that.”
The Nobel Peace Prize recognized the 1978 peace agreement between Israel and Egypt and the 1994 Oslo Accords. But Trump’s role in brokering an agreement between Israel and its four Arab neighbors aimed at normalizing diplomatic relations has not been acknowledged. Mr. Tenney referred to economic relations between countries.

In September 2020, Norwegian parliament member Christian Tybring Gedde nominated Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize for his “groundbreaking cooperation” in signing the Abraham Accords.
A month later, Laura Huftasari, a Finnish MEP and member of the right-wing Finland Party, also announced the award for 2021 “in recognition of his efforts to end and build on the era of endless wars.” Trump was nominated for the award. It maintains peace and supports internal cohesion and stability by encouraging dialogue and negotiation between parties to conflict. ”
Trump was nominated for the third time by a group of Australian parliamentarians in September 2020 to promote peace in the Middle East.
