ABC News reported:

The judge overseeing former President Donald Trump’s New York hush money case has postponed the start of the trial from its original March 25 start date after the defense raised discovery issues.

“The trial in this matter is postponed for 30 days from the date of this letter,” Judge Juan Melchan wrote Friday, which would postpone the new trial date to mid-April.

The judge scheduled a hearing for March 25 to address discovery concerns.

Trump’s lawyers had sought to delay the start of the trial so they could consider tens of thousands of pages of potential evidence recently disclosed by the Justice Department.
