Syria Sanctions Lifted

Riyadh: US President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that all sanctions against Syria have been lifted. He acknowledged their previous importance but emphasized that it is time for Syria to progress.

“I am ordering the suspension of sanctions against Syria to provide them with an opportunity to achieve greatness,” Trump stated during the Investment Forum in Riyadh.

“Now is their time to shine. We’re removing all of them,” he added.
