Former President Donald Trump praised the endorsements of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (I-Hawaii).
Trump at a rally in Mosinee, Wisconsin on Saturday Praised Kennedy, who suspended her presidential campaign in August to endorse Trump, praised him as a great person who “wants good things” for the United States. Trump also praised Gabbard, who endorsed Trump last month, as a “woman with great common sense.”
“I will be creating a commission of leading experts to look at the causes of the decades-long rise in chronic health problems and childhood diseases, including autoimmune diseases, autism, obesity and infertility,” Trump told the audience. “Bobby will be deeply involved in this. I'm going to get him involved because that's what he loves to do, that's what he's good at.”
The former president previously vowed at a rally in Glendale, Arizona, in August to work with Kennedy to “establish a commission of top experts” to “investigate the causes of the decades-long increase in chronic health problems and childhood illnesses.”
Trump went on to describe Kennedy as a “dominant Kennedy,” adding that having his endorsement was “very significant.”
“Isn't it great to have the Kennedys with us?” Trump asked. “Isn't it great? This has really — I mean, no disrespect to the rest of the family, but for the last 25 years, this Kennedy has been in charge. He's a great guy, I've known him for a long time. He's a great guy, and he really wants what's good for the country. It's very important to have his support.”
“Tulsi endorsed us, too, almost immediately,” Trump added. “We love Tulsi. She's wonderful. She's a very common sense woman. I've watched her for a long time. She's very common sense.”
In a speech endorsing Trump at the National Guard Association conference, Gabbard praised him for not starting “any new wars” and for taking “actions to de-escalate and prevent war.”
