Trump proposes that the GOP think about ousting Democrats from Congress

Late Thursday night, President Donald Trump shared a striking social media post, suggesting that Republicans should aim their sights on Democrats. He expressed frustration, claiming, “The Democrats have really lost their way. They’ve lost their hearts, particularly their courage! These radical left figures will once again face repercussions.”

Earlier this week, Senator Sri Taneder from Michigan wrote an article criticizing Trump.

Representative Al Green from Texas commended the push against Trump, stating, “Please add my name to this effort.” He also plans to introduce his own proposal focusing on Trump.

Trump argued in his post, “These lawmakers may not completely understand why they’re facing consequences, but they simply say, ‘We just want to act.’ Perhaps Republicans should consider removing them from Congress for the myriad of wrongdoings, especially as we approach election time.”

Included in Taneder’s resolution are various articles that touch on “obstruction of justice, procedural violations, and the responsibility to enforce the law,” among others.

During Trump’s first term, the House attempted to impeach him twice, but neither passed in the Senate. The second attempt followed the Capitol riots on January 6, 2021, but again resulted in an acquittal after Trump had left office.

Trump commented, “These individuals are unjust and fail to heal our nation. Why are they allowed to keep using their influence against a president who is striving to save this country?”

He added, “Maybe we should start playing the same game and expel the Democrats for their numerous offenses. These are serious allegations.” He mentioned figures like ‘Shifty’ Adam Schiff and their perceived misuse of power. “They required pardons and had to utilize their influence to avoid serious consequences.”
