Trump Updates on Barron’s College Journey

President Trump recently shared some insights about his youngest son, Barron, as he embarks on his studies at New York University. This comes right as Barron prepares for his sophomore year at a satellite campus located in Washington, D.C.

In late August, Trump spent some time on the golf course with his granddaughter, Kai Trump, who’s 18. During their outing, she captured the day on video and posed some intriguing questions regarding the White House and Trump’s personal life.

Kai inquired about Barron’s experience at NYU. Just a few days later, news surfaced that Barron would be moving to the White House to complete the fall semester at the D.C. campus.

“Thank goodness he’s fine. He’s a good kid. He loves you. He said, ‘Dad, say hi to Kai,'” Trump replied.

Trump also reflected on encouraging Barron to come out and see the campus, adding, “It’s so cute.”

Barron tends to keep a low profile and rarely joins his family in public, focusing mainly on his studies at NYU’s Stern School of Business.

Trump has often mentioned few details about Barron, including his preference for tennis over golf.

Recently, Trump hinted that Barron may be getting more involved with strategizing efforts to attract the youth vote through appearances on various podcasts, especially as the 2024 presidential election approaches.

Meanwhile, Barron’s older brother has made some significant moves in business, launching a luxury real estate company in January 2025 and reportedly making millions in cryptocurrencies by June, all while testing his skills in this new field.

A former social media manager for Trump even suggested that a business student should be considered for a spot on TikTok’s board of directors. Trump has expressed admiration for Barron’s tech skills in the past.
