Trump Pulls His 'Support and Endorsement' for Marjorie Taylor Greene

President Donald Trump has decided to withdraw his support for Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), expressing that she seems to only focus on complaining.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump shared that Greene’s issues began when he sent her a poll suggesting she shouldn’t pursue a Senate or governor run. He mentioned that she has been telling others she’s upset he hasn’t been responding to her calls.

“I’m withdrawing my endorsement of Georgia’s ‘Congresswoman’ Marjorie Taylor Greene,” Trump stated. “Recently, I’ve put forth significant efforts for this country—trillions in dollars spent—while achieving major milestones like overcoming the national shutdown, dealing with border security, tax cuts, and managing various foreign affairs. And yet, all I’ve seen from Greene lately is her constant complaints.”

He continued, noting that this situation began when he sent her a poll indicating her approval rating was only 12%—stating she had no viable chance unless he supported her. Trump also pointed out that he’s unable to take calls due to his numerous responsibilities and the nature of her communications. He mentioned that some conservative figures in Georgia are contemplating challenging Greene in her district.

“She has shifted far-left and even appeared on The View, which isn’t exactly the best move for someone in her position. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Let’s make America great again!”

In reaction to Trump’s post, Greene responded by sharing a screenshot of a text about Jeffrey Epstein. She accused Trump of attacking her to intimidate other Republicans ahead of a coming vote regarding the Epstein files.

“President Trump just lied about me and launched an attack,” Greene wrote. “I haven’t contacted him, but I guess these messages I sent spurred his reaction. It’s absurd how deeply he seems to be fighting this issue.”

She further emphasized that he is directing significant energy toward thwarting the release of the Epstein files, suggesting most Americans would prefer he concentrate on pressing issues affecting their lives.

Greene pointed out that she has devoted substantial resources to support Trump, stating clearly that she doesn’t “worship or serve” him.

Trump’s comments came as Greene assigned blame to House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune for the ongoing government shutdown.

Additionally, during a recent broadcast on ABC’s The View, Greene has noted distancing herself from Trump, mentioning her stance on not supporting Andrew Cuomo and seeking the release of Epstein’s client list.
