As the Jan. 15 Iowa caucuses quickly approach, former President Trump plans to make two more “Go to the Caucus” campaign stops in the Hawkeye State on Saturday.
Trump remains the clear front-runner in the Republican primary, according to national polls. He leads Iowa with 51.6 percent support, according to The Hill/Decision Desk polling average.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley follow with 18% and 17.1%, respectively.
The former president's visit with Newton and Clinton comes on the third anniversary of the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol. On Friday, President Biden and President Trump exchanged heated words over the violent riot.
Trump is scheduled to speak in Newton at 2 p.m. ET and in Clinton at 5 p.m. ET.
