When former President Donald Trump was nearly assassinated, it changed his life forever, as well as the lives of his supporters who attended the rally.
Attendees Mia and Eric said: Alex Stein Everything that happened that day, including how one of them ended up in Secret Service custody.
“They were rushing him out and I ended up running over and getting within 30 feet of Trump’s motorcade as he drove away right after he was shot. It was a Secret Service blunder. A really poor job,” Eric told Stein.
“So as I was about to head back in, they said, ‘Put your hands up,'” he continued, noting that he complied. “I was definitely excited. I had a lot of adrenaline going.”
Eric witnessed what happened firsthand, and it has given rise to a lot of conspiracy theories, especially on the left, that the whole thing was staged.
“I think the government, the Secret Service and possibly the CIA wanted this to happen, but they didn’t follow the proper procedures to stop it,” Stein said, asking Eric what he thought.
“I don’t agree with what they’re saying,” Eric says of the “fabricated” conspiracy. “I definitely saw him get shot and go down. I definitely think this was an inside job because there was no way he could have gotten on the roof. That roof is like the perimeter of the Butler Fairgrounds.”
“I mean, it would have been covered. Even I would have done that, I’m not the Secret Service or anything,” he added.
Mia, another participant, actually captured the whole thing on video.
“To be honest, when it first happened I thought it was a firecracker, but when I listened to the video, I could hear multiple firecrackers,” she explained. [shots being fired].”
