Trump Arrives in Saudi Arabia with Fighter Jet Escort

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia – President Trump touched down in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday morning, following an extraordinary flight involving fighter jet escorts through the country’s airspace.

Journalists aboard the presidential plane noted that six F-15s accompanied the aircraft, three on each side, during the final half-hour of the journey.

Dan Scavino, Trump’s Deputy Chief of Staff, shared a video of the unique escort while they were still en route.

“Thanks for the escort! I’ve got President Trump’s back. We really appreciate it. See you on the ground soon!” he posted.

Upon arrival, Trump addressed a forum of tech investors before meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He is also set to participate in a state dinner later that evening.

This visit is part of a wider three-country tour in the Middle East, which includes stops in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, and it aims to promote U.S. investments.
