Trump Responds to Harris’ Claims in Exclusive Interview

In a recent conversation with Fox News’ Peter Doucy, former President Donald Trump addressed claims made by Vice President Kamala Harris in her new book. He firmly stated that he never referred to her as “heartfelt,” describing her instead as “a tough, clever customer.” This came during an exclusive interview for the debut episode of the program, “Sunday Briefing.”

During the interview, Trump reflected on his interactions with Harris, noting, “I didn’t call her that, I know, but I was kind to her.” The discussion also referenced extracts reviewed by The New York Times concerning Harris’ experiences during the 2024 campaign.

Harris recounted that President Biden expressed being “angry” right before a significant debate against Trump. Additionally, the review highlighted Trump’s supposed remarks, where he characterized her by saying, “I’m going to be very kind and respectful. You’re a strict, clever customer, and I respect that very much. You have a beautiful name too.”

Interestingly, Harris urged Trump to help unite the country, yet she believed he viewed it as a “lost cause.” Trump, while speaking to Doucy, mentioned that he couldn’t quite recall providing specific praise to Harris. However, he insisted he had always been polite during their interactions, asserting that he had “seen her several times.”

He added, “I thought Kamala did a better job in terms of running than she did because we really won, and I thought she did better.” The interview also included a humorous moment, as Trump assisted Doucy in making his first TikTok video, joking about his efforts to “save” the app as part of Doucy’s new show.
