Trump fires back at 'sleazebag' Charlamagne tha God after Epstein comments

On Sunday, President Trump took aim at radio host Charlamagne Tha God after he suggested that the Jeffrey Epstein situation could allow traditional Republicans to reclaim control of the GOP from the MAGA base.

Charlamagne made this remark during an interview on “My Views with Lara Trump,” which is hosted by Trump’s daughter-in-law.

In a post on social media, Trump referred to Charlamagne as a “racist Threesbag” and questioned why he could call himself a “god.” Trump mused about the double standard, wondering what would happen if he used a similar nickname.

“He’s an IQ individual who clearly doesn’t understand the implications of his own words, and he knows nothing about my work or my accomplishments,” Trump added, while also highlighting some of his successes.

During a Fox News interview on Saturday afternoon, Charlamagne expressed his belief that “traditional conservatives” would help revitalize the Republican Party amidst backlash from Trump fans.

“There’s a political shift happening in the Republican Party that many people are unaware of. I really believe Epstein opens a door for traditional conservatives to reclaim the party,” he stated.

Charlamagne suggested that this might be a critical opportunity for conservatives, advising not to resent the MAGA base but to focus on regaining control.

Lara Trump, however, indicated that she feels things have shifted too much, stating, “I don’t expect to see another typical election that mirrors past Republican norms.”

In contrast, Charlamagne cautioned that Republicans who fail to appreciate Trump as a “once-in-a-lifetime… political juggernaut” are likely to encounter challenges.

“You won’t be Donald Trump. If you think you can replicate what he did or speak like him while distancing yourself from his brand, that’s not going to work,” he concluded.
