Trump Criticizes Crockett, Claims Higher Poll Numbers

In an interview on CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” former President Donald Trump took aim at Democrat Jasmine Crockett, branding him as a “very low IQ guy.” Trump asserted, “We won the election in a landslide,” and went on to explain that his current poll numbers surpass those from during the election, attributing this rise partly to the Democrats’ internal struggles.

During a recent event, Jasmine Crockett had described Trump as “part of the s–” and urged her supporters to adopt a more aggressive stance. She questioned, “But what do you need to do then? For me, it’s getting aggressive.”

On the same day, Trump claimed Crockett was among the leaders of the Democratic Party and dismissed her assertions about her influence, remarking, “They have lost Democrats. They have Trump crazy syndrome so bad that they can’t walk. They don’t know where they’re going.” He also mentioned Chuck Schumer’s acknowledgment of the party’s issues.

Crockett, in turn, expressed amusement at Trump’s remarks, suggesting he feels threatened by her message. She articulated that Democrats need to be “offensive” and not shy away from challenging the former president.

During the interview, host Joe Kernen noted that breaking 60% in approval ratings would be challenging for Trump, attributing this difficulty to what he called “Trump’s crazy syndrome.” Nevertheless, Trump remained optimistic, arguing that the country is experiencing better times now than ever before. He declared, “A year ago, our country was dead,” emphasizing that now, global leaders recognize the improvements in the U.S.
