Trump responds to questions about rumors of his death.

President Trump addressed the social media buzz regarding his health after a Fox News reporter, Peter Doucy, mentioned speculation about his death over the weekend.

Doucy inquired about the rumors, and Trump simply responded, “No.”

While he claimed he hadn’t personally seen the health-related speculation, he acknowledged hearing some of the chatter while reflecting on his Labor Day weekend activities. He remarked, “I’ve heard it, it’s kind of crazy. But last week, I had a lot of meetings with newspapers. Everything went well, and I didn’t do anything for a couple of days, so they must think there’s something wrong with me.”

He contrasted his situation with President Biden, saying, “Biden wouldn’t do them for months; you wouldn’t see him. No one claimed anything was wrong with him, and he wasn’t looking great,” as he laughed with Vice President Vance and Sen. Katie Britt (R-Ala.) beside him.

Trump highlighted that he participated in numerous interviews, appeared on various shows, and was active on Truth Social over the weekend. He said, “No, I was very active on the weekends. They knew I visited a club I own nearby on the Potomac River. I didn’t hear that kind of chatter.”

He labeled the rumors as “fake news,” suggesting that they lack credibility.

“Did they know he’s saying he’s okay? How’s he feeling? What’s wrong?” Trump questioned. “No, I was quite active this Labor Day, but I heard that, just not to that extent.”

After a week’s break following a lengthy cabinet meeting, he prepared to give a speech in the Oval Office on Tuesday. This came after the press pool spotted him at a golf club in Sterling, Virginia, over the weekend.

The limited interaction with the media led some social media users to speculate about his well-being, especially because of his visibly injured hands. Earlier this year, the White House revealed that Trump suffers from chronic venous deficiency, a condition that causes leg swelling and noticeable bruising on the hands.
