Trump responds to reporter about Epstein files: 'Be quiet, piggy'

Trump’s Comments on Epstein Files Receive New Attention

Last week, President Trump took a swipe at a reporter during an Air Force flight, after being asked about documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The entire Epstein case is resurfacing as the House gears up for a vote on a bill aimed at releasing these files.

When a journalist brought up Epstein, Trump replied, “You’re a quiet pig,” which stirred some reactions.

In a response to questions regarding a recent release of emails tied to Epstein, Trump highlighted a Justice Department directive to look into Democrats and their associates allegedly connected to Epstein’s criminal activities.

Among the emails, there was a claim that Trump had knowledge of the trafficking of girls. However, he firmly stated, “I don’t know anything about that,” while speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One.

He added, “They would have announced it a long time ago. That’s what he really meant, all the time with Bill Clinton, the president of Harvard, Larry Summers, and all the other people he spent time with.”

Continuing, Trump emphasized, “Jeffrey Epstein and I had a very bad relationship over the years, and he also dictated some memos for himself when he saw the strike going on because of the president. Just give me a break.”

The president wrapped up the conversation by saying he was determined to uncover more about “Bill Clinton, the president of Harvard, and all the people he knew, including JPMorgan Chase.”

This exchange happened just before Trump shifted his position, urging House Republicans to support the bill requiring the release of the Epstein files.

Trump’s change of heart followed a successful discharge petition that indicated the House bill would likely pass with ease. He stated, “As I told the Fake News Media on Air Force One Friday night, House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files because we have nothing to hide. And it’s time to move on from the Democratic hoax perpetrated by the radical left’s lunatics to distract from the Republican Party’s great successes, including the recent Democratic ‘shutdown’ victory.” This was shared in a post on his Truth Social platform.
